Takeru Sato Receives Praises from Hollywood Director Tim Burton Japanese actor Takeru Sato (Bloody Monday, Kamen Raider, and Haruma Miura BFF) had the chance to interview hotshot Hollywood Director Tim Burton when he was in Tokyo. Tim Burton was in Tokyo to promote his latest Johnny Depp collab, “Dark Shadows”. Takeru was thrilled to interview Burton because he was a big fan of the Director’s works, Burton is known for making quirky-themed movies where most of which starred Johnny Depp. Burton expressed his desire to be able to shoot a movie in Japan since he viewed Japan to be as quirky and odd as his past movies. Takeru also had the chance to show Burton the theatrical trailer of his upcoming movie, “Rorouni Kenshin”. The director has nothing but praises for Takeru and even said that it will be a nice birthday present if he will be able to watch Rorouni Kenshin. Burton’s birthday falls on the official movie release of Takeru’s film, Aug 25th. Before the end of the interview, Takeru gave Burton an action figure of Kenshin Himura.
